The council wanted to understand how older adults living in the municipality engaged with the e-services and over 55 web pages provided by the council. We held a public codesign workshop in the local library, where older adults were able to openly share their concerns and help design for their needs.

In a bid to boost its publication record, a research centre focussing on design innovation offered its members the opportunity to attend the 12-week writing for publication lab. It resulted in 5 journal articles and 1 book chapter submitted.

When seven research teams made a decision to put in a bid for the ARC’s Special Research Initiative in Humanities in 2019, the Centre directors asked Flavia and Simone to run a concentrated weekly workshop series to support the application process.
